Question by lostbrian: What is the cheapest way to get from Dublin (Ireland) to Budapest (Hungary) ?
I’m planning and going to the Sziget festival in Budapest this August and I’m already noticing that direct flights to Budapest are becoming quite expensive. Does anybody know of any alternative, cheaper ways of getting to Budapest without having to spend more than 3 days travelling? Could anybody give me a list of airports close to Budapest that can be reached from Dublin? I know Bratislava is an option, just looking for some others! Thank you.

Question by Diana: How far is Camlica from the tourist attractions in Istanbul?
We are going to Istanbul for our honeymoon in July. We booked a residential suite in Camlica. How far is this district from the touristic places in Istanbul? Will it be hard to find public transportation to the attractions? We are interested in mosques, churches, palaces and traditional markets.
Thanks!

You’ll have to take at least two transports two go between them. There may be some options but I recommend you take the bus from Camlica to Kadikoy, and then you take the ferry from Kadikoy to either Eminonu or Karakoy.
I must add that although Camlica is a very good, quite and peacefull place with lots of trees, beautiful old houses and fantastic scenery, may be it is a wrong place to stay because of its distance to Eminonu and Taksim (touristic places) and infrequency of public transportation.

Question by carnivoremonkey: How can I travel from San Jose to San Francisco early on a Sunday morning without driving?
I need to get from San Jose to north SF by 9:30 AM on a Sunday, and won’t be able to drive there. Unfortunately, the earliest Caltrain on Sunday doesn’t get to the SF station until 9:36 AM, and it’ll take over an additional half an hour for me to ride the bus from the station to my destination. Is there a quicker/less costly/more convenient way for me to get from San Jose to San Francisco on time than to ride a bus all the way? Thanks!

Answer by SFdude
Those who’re stranded by Caltrain can always take the bus over to BART. The system is designed specifically for that. VTA Bus #180 to the Fremont BART station (arrives 8:07 AM) departs from the following locations:
San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station
7:21a
1st & Santa Clara
7:26a
Civic Center VTA Light Rail Station
7:33a
Great Mall of the Bay Area Transit Center
7:43a
From Fremont station, board a Richmond bound train (8:15 AM) to BayFair (8:33 AM). Transfer at BayFair (8:45 AM) to a Millbrae bound train. You’ll arrive at the four Downtown San Francisco stations between 9:12 AM and 9:17 AM.
The fare is $ 3.50 VTA + $ 5.25 BART = $ 8.75 one-way
